Exede - They run that credit card with no problems but fail to provide a service in return... Fraud!
Internet was at unbearable slow speeds only days after our data was reset month after month. Finally a representative sold us on the biggest plan offered in our area.
Over the phone we agreed to the new plan and the payment for this new plan was taken out of our account instantly. A week later our internet was hardly working so I logged in to see if we could have possibly some how some way gone over our 50gb plan. Turns out we were never given the plan we bought. Our online account was still showing 12gb out of 12gb used.
I called to see why that was happening and the response was that there was a gliche in the system. The same system that had no problem running my credit card found a gliche in providing the service we paid for out of our bank account money we earned and they took it without the return of more data that we agreed on. If this was the first time I would be okay but back in Dec we were charged double. I sent our bank account statements, invoices I received from exede and all emails reflecting we were overcharged.
I called and spoke to the representative who reviewed my account and agreed that we had been overcharged he assured me he would forward this to the department that will issue the refund. When several days passed and I heard nothing I called again. This representative also reviewed the account agreed we were overcharged and apologized with the promise that we will be refunded. A week passed and the only communication I received from Exede was an email letting me know we would be charged soon for our upcoming bill our account never refunded I called for the 3rd time.
This time the representative said those charges were from an unpaid month previously which he could not give me the specific month due to the confusing notes in the file. I explained to him all of the above including the fact that my very own bank statements reflect an overcharge but that did not matter to him he had no numbers no dates or legitimate information or service charges that justified the amount of the charges we were charged.
I never write on these boards I just don't know what else to do its becoming a really stressful issue in my life at this point there needs to be some sort of action taken to assure we are provided with the service we are paying for. This company is operating like frauds and when they are the only service provider in your area it is unethical for them to take advantage of that.
Reason of review: Overcharging unauthorized charges. Paid for a service/product that we never received..
Monetary Loss: $300.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

This is a current complaint for VIASAT which is the same as EXEDE
